The Greek Postal Savings Bank S.A. (henceforth "the Bank") informs the investment public, its shareholders and every interested party that the anonymous company “NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE S.A.”, (henceforth "the Company"), with its letter dated April 22, 2008 announced that on April 21, 2008 the change of
a) the total voting rights which it holds and
b) the participation in the Bank’s share capital “due to acquisition of voting rights”.



The Company possesses 8,630,548 voting rights on a total of 142,232,982, while its participation in the Bank's share capital has increased to 6.07%.

The above percentage participation is analyzed as follows:

a) Direct participation of 5.73%, which translates to 8,156,000 shares with voting rights

b) Indirect participation of 0.34%, which translates to 474,548 shares with voting rights that the Company acquired through “controlled corporations”.
